Jody Adams announces plans for a Greek restaurant in Boston

Jody Adams, the charismatic doyenne of Cambridge’s Rialto and Boston’s Trade, has announced plans for a Greek restaurant in Boston. Saloniki (132 Brookline Ave. at Kilmarnock Street) will serve a build-your-own menu: Accessorize a pita, salad, or brown rice bowl with spicy lamb meatballs, honey-braised pork shoulder, or zucchini feta fritters, then top them with spicy whipped feta or charred eggplant. Co-owner Eric Papachristos is from Thessaloniki, Greece, hence the name. Saloniki opens this spring.
